About Us

Anthea Boden is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years experience working in aged care.  She has previously held management positions with SA Baptist Homes and Resthaven and has undertaken
agency work in several High Care (Nursing Home) and Low Care (Hostel) Residential facilities.

Anthea identified people were finding it difficult to;

• be aware of what age care services are available for them
  
  
• know how to access these services, 
  
  
• find the time to complete the paperwork and make the phone calls
  
  
• advocate effectively to obtain services with lengthy waiting periods
  
  
• be confident that the level of care offered is of a high standard

So Anthea created Age Care Directions in January 2005 to connect people to age care services. 

During 2006 Andrew Boden joined Age Care Directions following a career spanning 30 years in the Finance Sector.  While not licensed to provide financial advice, Andrew is able to give you a clear understanding of the costs of accessing residential care.
